Volunteers in Mission (VIM) is a grassroots movement within the United Methodist Church, designed to provide an official channel where Christians, laymen and clerics, can offer their skills and talents to Christian service at the local level and throughout the World through short self-managed projects.
His work includes building and renovating church facilities, teaching, witnessing, conducting medical campaigns, conducting Bible studies or the Bible School for Children and providing humanitarian aid services throughout The world. To lead a VIM team, Methodist Men and women receive certified training.
For almost ten years, VIM projects have been carried out in different ecclesial districts of the IMP, initially promoted by sister Judy Bruun of the Wisconsin Conference of the North Central jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church (NCJ-WBU).
